During 2023 the recipie for preparing obs4MIPs-compliant data products was substantially streamlined. This will enable more attention in 2024 to focus on preparation of obs4MIPs-compliant products and to deliver them via ESGF. At the same time, the obs4MIPs task teams will continue to broaden the project framework to enable the inclusion a broader class of observations that may enable more process-relevant evaluation of CMIP simulations.
